My Story
I was born and raised in Mexico. I met my husband, Richard, in Mexico City and we’ve been married almost 23 years. Before moving to San Diego, we lived 2 years in Caracas, Venezuela and then moved to Washington, DC. We decided to move to San Diego, as Richard is a native San Diegan and we wanted to be closer to Richard's parents and childhood friends . After all, San Diego is the best place in the world to raised a family! We lived in Carmel Valley for 19 years where our two boys attended local public schools.
I have a bachelor's degree in communication from the TEC de Monterrey. After graduating from school, I worked for Pepsico-Mexico in the area of marketing and promotions. I also started my own marketing and corporate branding firm in Mexico City.
I have a passion for dancing salsa, zumba and flamenco, I love art and all its expressions, I believe that art is one of the ways to understand people and their motivations. I enjoy growing my own food, cooking and wine tasting. I love having friends over to watch the sunset while sipping a nice glass of wine and tasting appetizers made from our garden.
In December 2017, we sold our lovely, one story home in Carmel Valley and moved to North County. Currently, we are in the process of building a strawbale house in North San Diego County!
